Owners.ge collects users’ first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers, personal ID numbers (for verification purposes), account data, listing text and photos, data related to communication between users through the platform, and technical and analytical data about platform use.

Data is processed to provide the service, create and manage user accounts, identify and verify owners, publish listings, enable direct communication between owners and interested parties, ensure the platform’s security and functionality, improve the platform, and fulfil legal obligations.

Information and photos published in a listing are publicly available to platform users, except for information intended for private or internal use.

Phone number: Once a user is granted “Verified Owner” status, the contact phone number specified on their active listing pages will be displayed publicly and available to listing visitors for direct contact.

An email address will not be published publicly simply because a user has created an account. Using the messaging system does not, in itself, disclose the email address to the other party.

Personal ID numbers and documents requested for verification are used to identify users and check owner status. This information is not published publicly and is accessible only to appropriately authorized persons, as needed for verification and security.

Where required by law, data may be transferred to the relevant authorized authorities.

Public information includes published listing data, photos, and the contact phone number displayed on a verified owner’s active listings.

Personal ID numbers, verification documents, account authentication data, and internal technical records are not published publicly. This does not preclude their lawful processing or disclosure in cases provided for by law.

Owners.ge uses appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data. Data is retained for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of processing or fulfil legal obligations.

Transmitting and storing data on the internet involves risks. Despite security measures, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Owners.ge does not sell users’ personal data. Data may be processed by service providers necessary for the platform’s technical and operational functioning, such as hosting or email delivery services, only as needed for the relevant service.

Data may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or when lawfully necessary to protect rights and security.

The platform may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, user session management, and analysis of usage statistics. The specific types used depend on the technologies actually enabled on the platform.
